Our products are crossing the ocean once again! Bujnie's dedicated solutions have found their place in office spaces in the heart of Chicago. In cooperation with the local plantscaping studio Coach House Plants, we created a unique botanical setting for the new headquarters of a global technology leader in the food industry. See how we combined the raw aesthetics of steel with vibrant greenery in this exceptional project.
Working Environment and Design Challenge
Designing greenery for the commercial sector requires bridging the gap between a company's identity and the biological need to connect with nature. For the new American headquarters of a European food processing corporation, the industry's character became the starting point.
The environment of large-scale, hygienic stainless steel machinery served as direct inspiration for material selection. The challenge was to translate this industrial, technical aesthetic into an office space while maintaining elegance and a cozy, work-conducive atmosphere.
Our Solution: RODD and LOOPO Collections in Stainless Steel
For this space, we supplied our proprietary steel forms from two flagship Bujnie lines, modifying their finish specifically for this project:
RODD Collection: For this project, we used RODD 900 planters (with a dedicated top), RODD 700, and RODD 600. The distinctive openwork construction of perforated sheet metal, characteristic of the RODD collection, was given a new look here – we made it entirely from stainless steel. The finish flawlessly references the modern equipment of professional industrial kitchens, creating a raw yet elegant leitmotif.
LOOPO Green System: We complemented the space with our modular LOOPO Green System. In this version, stainless steel was combined with subtle accents in the corporate shade of blue. This approach allowed for a seamless integration of the plant design with the investor's visual identity.
Architectural Scale: The slender forms of Bujnie served as striking focal points in the space – from intimate relaxation zones to open glazing with views of Chicago's characteristic skyline.
Partnership and On-site Implementation
The final effect of this investment is a result of precise teamwork. Our partner, local plantscaping studio Coach House Plants, was responsible for the plant selection and overall on-site installation. Their keen eye for flora perfectly broke the harshness of the metal, creating a friendly and modern work environment.
The Chicago project is another important step for Bujnie in the international market. It proves that Polish design and our steel forms are well-suited for the most demanding global spaces.
