New project in Finland – Hermia 6 Restaurant

Imagine a cool Finnish morning in Tampere – a city where modern technologies from the Hervanta campus intertwine with raw Nordic nature. You step into the Hermia 6 restaurant for a quick coffee between meetings or lunch in the middle of a busy day. Instead of overwhelming noise and a stark, commercial interior, you are welcomed by a space where you immediately slow your pace. Greenery rustles around you, light rests softly on the leaves, and the acoustics invite calm conversation.

This is exactly the effect achieved in the new office layout, where modern architecture met biophilic design signed by BUJNIE.

A space that lets you breathe

The key challenge for a restaurant located at such a bustling campus was to reconcile extreme needs: a space ready for heavy traffic and an intimate atmosphere conducive to regeneration. The designers from Arkkitehtitoimisto Silvana moved away from traditional, heavy partitions in favor of "living" architecture.

Using the LOOPO Air system, the greenery was lifted into the air. Modules suspended from the ceiling created a natural, leafy canopy above the tables. For a guest sitting at a table, this means a sense of privacy and pleasant tranquility, while the circulation paths below remain completely open and spacious.

At floor level, we placed mobile LOOPO Floor planters. They act as fluid, organic screens that gently divide the dining area, bringing warmth and a natural rhythm to the modern interior.
